Position: Tax Clerk for Deceased Estates
Join the Manitoba government as a Tax Clerk specializing in deceased estates. This full-time role in Winnipeg involves the preparation of T1 and T3 returns and managing sensitive financial information.

As an Income Tax Clerk for the Public Guardian and Trustee, you will ensure the proper filing of tax returns for over 5,000 vulnerable clients. Your responsibilities will include calculating financial data and navigating legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail. This is a crucial role supporting the financial well-being of clients who cannot manage their affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file T1 and T3 estate tax returns

• Manage trust account documentation and filings

• Calculate necessary tax holdbacks for estates

• Ensure compliance with CRA regulations

• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Canadian T1 Tax Returns

• Strong detail orientation and accuracy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently

• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar applications
