Accounting Intern

Position: Accounting Intern at NFI Group
Start your finance career with NFI Group as an Accounting Intern from May to August. Collaborate with our accounting team and gain hands-on experience in financial reporting.

This internship provides students pursuing a degree in commerce or business administration an opportunity to dive into internal accounting activities. You will work closely with the accounting reporting team and support various functional groups to ensure accurate financial statements are prepared timely. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end financial tasks and journal entries

• Collaborate with Accounting Transactions Team Supervisor

• Support interactions across Finance and Operations groups

• Ensure accurate reporting for North American Bus Unit

• Provide ad-hoc support for various tasks

Requirements:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in commerce or business

• Knowledge of IFRS is a bonus

• Previous finance/accounting experience preferred

• Strong communication and organization skills

• Proficient in MS Excel and willingness to learn new systems
