Payroll Assistant Dayforce Administration

Support accurate payroll administration at Sunrise Farms using Dayforce, AS400, and Excel across a workforce of approximately 400 employees. Assist payroll operations for plant and salaried employees under the Payroll Supervisor’s direction.

The Payroll Assistant supports bi-weekly payroll, time and attendance reviews, employee records, benefits administration, and payroll reporting. This position works with management, office staff, plant managers, supervisors, and plant staff. Basic accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and effective communication are central to the work.

• Run bi-weekly payroll for plant or salaried employees
• Review daily time and attendance adjustments for accuracy
• Update employee records in Dayforce and AS400 systems
• Prepare payroll, reimbursement, and employee benefits forms
• Monitor vacation time, absenteeism, and required reports

• Familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset
• Basic accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft products
• Secondary school graduation plus accounting and payroll courses
• Two to three years’ similar payroll experience preferred
