Use advanced Excel and accounting expertise as a Business Unit Accountant in Winnipeg, Manitoba, supporting operational financial insight and reporting.
This accountant prepares business unit accounting for cost and revenue drivers. The work covers inventory valuation, cost of sales, revenue recognition, and general ledger reconciliations. You will analyze Workday reports, communicate findings, and support financial close activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine inventory values and assess required adjustments
- Analyze Workday inventory reporting and provide guidance
- Review work in progress and cost of sales calculations
- Perform parts and labor accrual calculations
- Reconcile standardized reports and explain variances
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- Two or more years of accounting or financial experience
- CPA certification or progress toward completion
- Advanced Excel and Word skills for financial spreadsheets
- Strong critical thinking and professional communication skills
