Agricultural Financial Controller Minto

Lead financial reporting for Ag-Quest, Rourke Farms, and Dana M Farms in person at the Minto office, using Quick Books and accounting expertise.
This full-time Financial Controller oversees three companies and their subsidiaries. The role supports accurate reporting, internal controls, tax compliance, and operational efficiency. You will manage financial portfolios while collaborating with executives, accounting clerks, accountants, and the Executive Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee payables, receivables, payroll, tax preparation, and remittances
Implement internal controls and financial policies
Manage bank accounts, credit cards, and financial portfolios
Complete government reporting, filings, and SRED claims
Conduct internal audits and monitor financial risks
Requirements:
Accounting or business diploma or bachelor’s degree
At least five years of job-related financial experience

Experience with Quick Books and payroll administration
Knowledge of accounting functions and tax regulations
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and required travel availability
