As Controller, you will coordinate daily financial operations and monthly reporting for Standard Aero’s facilities across multiple regions. The position includes reviewing variances, managing professional accountants, administering financial policies, and supporting special projects. Your work connects centralized finance with the company’s global MRO operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate daily financial operations and monthly reporting requirements
- Lead month-end close and report significant financial variances
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Manage accountants through evaluation, development, hiring, and discipline
- Coordinate annual external audits and participate in special projects
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Five-plus years in accounting or finance
- Experience reviewing reconciliations, month-end, and audit coordination
- Leadership experience managing people
- Recognized accounting designation or equivalent relevant experience
