Invoice Processing Accounts Payable Clerk

Handle invoice processing at Fort Garry Industries, using accurate data entry, payable coding, and Microsoft Office skills at corporate head office.

This Accounts Payable Clerk supports FGI’s accounts payable department through invoice entry and vendor assistance. Daily work includes coding incoming invoices, confirming authorization, investigating cost exceptions, and reviewing vendor statements. Candidates should bring customer service, communication, and accounting experience, with high-volume AP experience preferred.

• Enter invoices after purchasing authorization
• Check invoice coding before subledger posting
• Confirm invoices carry signing officer approval
• Match invoices and packing slips during reconciliation
• Review vendor statements regularly

• High school diploma or equivalent
• General accounting principles experience preferred
• Inventory and year-end closing experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office equipment
• Excellent customer service and written communication skills
