Canadian Tax And Bookkeeping Accountant

Prepare accounting records, financial statements, and GST, HST, or PST returns for Canadian businesses as Zenbooks’ fully remote Staff Accountant.

This Staff Accountant role combines bookkeeping, cloud software, and recurring client accounting work. Zenbooks supports small and mid-sized businesses across professional services, SaaS, technology, agencies, e-commerce, and non-profits. You will maintain complete records, protect documentation integrity, and provide regular processing.

• Organize accounting records, financial statements, and reports
• Prepare GST, HST, and PST returns
• Perform regular accounts receivable and payable processing
• Use Xero, QBO, Dext, and Plooto effectively
• Maintain client records and ensure completeness

• One year of bookkeeping experience required
• Familiarity with cloud accounting software such as Xero or QBO
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Collaboration and initiative in team settings
• Availability during core business hours from home
