Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient‑centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province‑wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position OverviewThe incumbent is responsible for providing clerical support to the Manager(s), Health Services, including processing job postings and related paperwork, maintaining position control, registering new hires in orientation sessions, ensuring the Manager(s) is/are aware of staffing levels, maintaining employee profiles in the ESP staff scheduling system, updating the day‑to‑day schedule changes, and running staffing reports as requested. Coordinates the appointment calendar for the Manager(s) and performs other clerical duties as assigned.
Experience- Minimum two years of previous related experience, preferably in a health care setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Complete Grade 12 education, Manitoba standards, required.
- Successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program required.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Qualifications and Skills- Typing 50 wpm, medical terminology (pass mark 75%) required.
- Knowledge of personal computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Preference given to applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge of Indigenous customs, beliefs and practices.
- Must be able to function in a high volume, high traffic environment.
This term position may end earlier as outlined in the collective agreement.
