Join the Winnipeg Health Region as an Administrative Secretary and support the Renal Health department. This role emphasizes administrative efficiency and effective communication skills in person.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of three years experience in a similar role. Duties include managing databases, preparing minutes, and effectively communicating across various levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, along with a typing speed of 60-70 wpm. Experience in healthcare settings is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare agendas and document meeting minutes
• Maintain effective spreadsheets and databases
• Interact with staff and public positively
• Coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks
• Assist in administrative duties as required
Requirements:
• High school education completed in Manitoba
• Recognized secretarial training program completed
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Criminal background check necessary
