The Property Leasing Assistant plays a key role in the daily operations of our residential community. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the inquiry, touring, and application process. You will also support the property management team with administrative tasks, resident retention, and marketing efforts to maintain high occupancy rates and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities
- Assist Leasing Coordinators, Leasing Manager, and Maintenance Manager with day-to-day leasing operations
- Prepare & maintain detailed records for leases, tenant welcome packages, assignments, lease amendments, and correspondence
- Audit tenant ledgers regularly for accuracy
- Follow up with tenant arrears & assist with collections as appropriate
- Update monthly preauthorized debit changes to Tenants' accounts
- Prepare daily, weekly & monthly notices regarding rent, renewals, and other tenant communications
- Perform data entry tasks related to lease administration & maintain organized filing systems

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with Spectra or similar customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry & Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
