Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team as a Healthcare Assistant, balancing patient care and administrative tasks. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and being a vital communication link for the unit.

You will work under the supervision of the Manager, Health Services, performing various clerical and patient comfort tasks. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and complete high school education, as well as Health Care Aide and Unit Clerk programs.

Your role will significantly impact patient satisfaction and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clerical tasks and communication duties for the unit

• Maintain cleanliness and patient comfort in assigned areas

• Prioritize workload effectively to meet unit needs

• Utilize technology to support administrative tasks

• Follow direction and collaborate within the health care team

Requirements:

• Completion of high school education, Manitoba Standards

• Successful completion of Health Care Aide and Unit Clerk programs

• CPR training as per employer policy

• Basic keyboarding and medical terminology proficiency

• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous demands

Contribute to patient care and communication as a vital part of the healthcare team.
