Unit Clerk Position

Southern Health-Santé Sud is searching for a Unit Clerk to manage clerical and communication functions within the healthcare unit. This role requires strong organizational skills and a minimum of one year of relevant experience.

As a Unit Clerk, you will be a key player in supporting nursing operations and maintaining effective communication. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to prioritize tasks will be essential. Additionally, you will contribute positively to a culturally diverse work environment and uphold confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform essential clerical and receptionist tasks

• Communicate effectively with team members and patients

• Organize and prioritize work to meet unit demands

• Maintain confidentiality in all communications and records

• Build respectful relationships with facility staff

Requirements:

• One year of experience in a clinical setting

• Education equivalent to Grade 12

• Certification as a Unit Clerk

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and insurance
