Job SummaryThe Screening Program Clerk III is responsible for performing a variety of clerical administrative tasks including data entry, supporting clients in accessing cancer screening services, appointment management, and reception duties for the Cancer Care Manitoba (CCMB) Screening Programs in an efficient and effective manner.
Required Qualifications- Graduate of a Medical Office Assistant program or equivalent. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the internet.
- Demonstrated data entry speed and accuracy of 10,000 keystrokes per hour (45 WPM), with less than 1% error rate.
An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills And Abilities- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Exceptional client services skills.
- Ability to adapt to stressful situations in a high‑pace environment.
- Ability to work independently and participate as a positive member within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Exceptional organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Work with a high level of confidentiality.
- Experience in a healthcare clinical environment that involved interaction with patients and the public.
- Experience with electronic patient charts (EMR) and electronic information data systems.
- Knowledge of population health and Cancer Screening Programs.
- Experience working in Screening Programs.
- Must have satisfactory employment record.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
- Ability to speak French.
