Job Responsibilities & Duties A company that gives back and is active in the community.
Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or over the telephone; answering and referring inquiries.
Directing visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
Sorting and forwarding incoming faxes and emails received to appropriate departments.
Handling incoming and outgoing couriers (including regular mail); open, stamp, sort and label for distribution.
Maintaining stock and availability of office supplies by ordering as required.
Maintaining a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Providing support on general administrative office services and is able to refer Brokers for specialized assistance.
Candidate Requirements Positive attitude, eager to provide great client service experience.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Solid administrative skills including strong attention to detail, organization and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and exercise initiative and work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Qualifications & Experience Proficiency with MS Office Suite:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Desire to grow in the insurance industry and obtain a level 1 insurance license.
Prior office experience would be considered an asset.
