Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

• Minimum of five to seven years related experience in a healthcare setting, preferably at a senior level.
• Experience setting up spread sheets and databases required.

• Complete high school education, Manitoba Standards, required.
• Successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program required.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.

• Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.
• Typing 50-60 wpm required.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint required.
• Knowledge of the Internet and Internet Explorer required.
• Medical Terminology (pass mark 75%) preferred.
• Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to coordinate workflow and develop effective work processes.
• Must have excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, administration, Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) and the public.

• Must be able to function independently in a fast-paced environment with a heavy workload.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
