As an Autobody Estimator, you will report to the Body Shop Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate collision appraisals for customer vehicles including insurance claims. Your expertise will contribute to profitable and high-quality repairs, while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

• Thoroughly assess vehicles to determine the extent of damage across various aspects (structural, body, mechanical, electrical, refinish, and interior)
• Produce accurate estimates in a timely manner by verifying information diligently
• Maintain clear communication with clients and the body shop, ensuring exceptional customer service
• Foster a friendly demeanor while performing duties within the body shop
• Complete and upload all required documentation and paperwork accurately
• Effectively document and communicate with insurance companies, including MPI
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times
• Utilize software programs

• Working alongside trained technicians
• Excel in multitasking and organizing tasks efficiently
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in work and communication

• Prior experience in automotive estimating, parts, or a related role
• Outgoing personality with a proven track record in building customer relationships
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and skilled in prioritizing tasks
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Class 5 Licence (required)
• Automotive Estimating: 2 years (preferred)
• Resident of Winnipeg
• Not having more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years
