As an Autobody Estimator, you will report to the Body Shop Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate collision appraisals for customer vehicles including insurance claims. Your expertise will contribute to profitable and high-quality repairs, while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

- Thoroughly assess vehicles to determine the extent of damage across various aspects (structural, body, mechanical, electrical, refinish, and interior)
- Produce accurate estimates in a timely manner by verifying information diligently
- Maintain clear communication with clients and the body shop, ensuring exceptional customer service
- Foster a friendly demeanor while performing duties within the body shop
- Complete and upload all required documentation and paperwork accurately
- Effectively document and communicate with insurance companies, including MPI
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times
- Utilize software programs
- Thrive in both team environments and individual initiatives
- Working alongside trained technicians
- Excel in multitasking and organizing tasks efficiently
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in work and communication
- Prior experience in automotive estimating, parts, or a related role
- Outgoing personality with a proven track record in building customer relationships
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and skilled in prioritizing tasks
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Class 5 Licence (required)
- Automotive Estimating: 2 years (preferred)
- Resident of Winnipeg
- Not having more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years
