Shape high-speed connectivity services at Ciena as a Senior Advisor focused on implementation portfolios, complex opportunities, and financial analysis.
This senior role guides service design across optical, routing and switching, software, Navigator/MCP, and multi-domain environments. You will convert customer deployment needs into repeatable, profitable services while supporting portfolio strategy and commercial performance. The position connects detailed opportunity economics with broader business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:- Own portfolio strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, revenue, margin, and adoption
- Build complex opportunity P&Ls covering scope, costs, pricing, and risk
- Lead New Service Introduction from business case through post-launch review
- Translate customer and market signals into investment recommendations
- Represent Implementation Services in strategic customer and executive reviews
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Typically 10+ years in telecommunications, services, or product management
- Expertise in implementation, deployment, and migration services
- Strong P&L, pricing, costing, margin, and investment analysis
- Executive-level writing, presentation, facilitation, and customer engagement skills
