ROHL Global Networks Inc. is hiring full-time, year-round Labourers to join our growing team. These positions will support crews on a newly awarded multi-year contract, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to grow your career in utility and telecommunications construction.

The Role

In this role, you will report to the Crew Supervisor. As a Labourer, your primary responsibility will be to support ROHL projects by performing physical labour throughout all phases of the construction process. This role involves providing hands‑on support in a variety of areas, including manual tasks, material handling, site preparation, terrain clearing, shoveling, and the operation of basic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities may differ depending on the project, however, key responsibilities include:

  • Perform general physical labour including hand work, material handling, site preparation, terrain clearing, and shoveling
  • Load, unload, and move construction materials throughout the worksite
  • Assist equipment operators by providing clear signals to support safe material movement
  • Spread, level, and adjust materials such as gravel, dirt, and seed using hand tools
  • Operate basic construction equipment including pneumatic hammers, tampers, vibrators, and skid steers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite by removing debris, rubble, and garbage
  • Install, remove, cover, and uncover traffic control devices such as signs, cones, and barricades
  • Direct traffic as required to support safe and efficient operations
  • Follow and actively promote ROHL’s safety program and safe work practices
  • Participate in daily and weekly safety meetings, inspections, and toolbox talks
  • Assist with incident, damage, and near‑miss investigations in coordination with the Safety Department
What You Bring
  • Previous labourer experience (minimum one year) considered an asset
  • Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
  • Ability to travel out of town during the week or on weekends
  • Be comfortable working around energized utilities
  • Lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work for extended periods
  • Work in confined spaces, climb ladders and elevated platforms, and stand for long durations
  • Perform repetitive movements and tasks in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
  • Wear required PPE, including hearing protection and respiratory equipment when required
  • Work in environments with high noise levels, vibration, and potential musculoskeletal strain
