Experienced Estimator at MKA Inc.

MKA Canada Inc. is searching for a knowledgeable Estimator to join their Winnipeg team. The role involves detailed estimation preparation and requires significant construction experience.

As the Estimator, you will be responsible for creating both conceptual and detailed estimates for various projects. A strong understanding of construction documentation, pricing methods, and the ability to communicate effectively will be essential. Site inspections and collaboration with architects and engineers will form a key part of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and prepare project quantities from construction drawings

• Assist with detailed construction estimates and analyses

• Engage in pricing and analysis of construction methods

• Conduct site inspections as necessary for project evaluation

• Complete accurate quantity take-offs with minimal oversight

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in estimating required

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Word is essential

• Knowledge of estimating software systems beneficial

• Effective communication skills in English are necessary

• Site-based experience is an asset
