In this position, you will oversee complex construction projects valued between $20 million and $50 million, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams while providing mentorship and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

- Work closely with project teams from project award through completion while maintaining strong communication with planning departments and permit authorities.
- Support the Preconstruction Team with new opportunities, proposals, and RFP submissions.
- Coordinate and schedule all design and construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and job cost reporting to maintain or exceed estimated project margins.
- Issue subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders while ensuring scope completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct detailed shop drawing reviews and coordinate project documentation.
- Lead project site meetings and distribute meeting minutes in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate invoicing, payments, and change order processing.
- Work closely with estimating teams to establish and maintain project budget controls.
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance standards are maintained throughout construction activities.
- Partner with safety personnel to ensure projects comply with company safety programs and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding project schedules, coordination, progress billing, and change orders.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company operational procedures and standards.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams and junior staff members.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain project success.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Minimum 15 years of experience within the construction industry.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects valued at $25 million or greater.
- Experience in the preconstruction phase of projects utilizing Design-Build or Construction Management delivery models.
- Diploma or degree in Construction Engineering or a related field is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and commercial and light industrial construction practices.
- Proven experience coordinating and managing projects ranging from $20 million to $50 million in value.
- Proficiency with computerized job costing software, Bluebeam, Adobe Pro, Autodesk Build (ACC), SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and Office 365.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and construction stakeholders.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License required.
