Advance your career as a Project Estimating Coordinator with Kalamoir in Calgary. This role focuses on managing budget creation, tender preparation, and trade management for various development projects.
As a Project Estimating Coordinator, you will supervise preconstruction activities and estimating processes. Initially, your work will concentrate on lower-density residential projects, but responsibilities will grow across the development portfolio. Collaborating closely with the Pre-Construction Manager, you will ensure effective project execution and build strong contractor relationships while upholding Kalamoir’s safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review trade bid packages and instructions
• Oversee RFIs and preliminary bid evaluations
• Ensure accurate and timely quote submissions
• Develop progressive budgets during project design
• Transition bid-levelled tenders efficiently to management
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in the construction sector
• Solid grasp of standard tender package drawings
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel and Bluebeam software
• Preferred post-secondary education in relevant field
