We are seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist (CET) or experienced construction estimator to assist with estimating, project planning, quantity takeoffs, bid preparation, and client communication for commercial roofing projects.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, technically minded, and interested in building a long‑term career in the construction and roofing industry.

Responsibilities- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Perform material quantity takeoffs and accurate cost estimates
- Prepare and submit quotations and bid packages
- Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
- Assist with project planning and scheduling
- Conduct site visits and roof measurements when required
- Maintain estimating spreadsheets and project records
- Support business development and lead generation opportunities
- Coordinate with management on awarded projects
- Civil Engineering Technology diploma (CET)
- Certification with CTTAM is considered an asset.
- Construction estimating experience
- Knowledge of commercial roofing systems
- Experience reading blueprints and specifications
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel/ and construction software
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Experience with AutoCAD, Merx, WCA and tenders
- Understanding of commercial construction practices
- Roofing and exterior envelope experience
