Position: Construction Project Estimator Role
Bockstael Construction is seeking a skilled Project Estimator to prepare bids and manage costs for construction projects. This full-time opportunity is essential in ensuring accurate project delivery.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of project evaluation and management, drawing on your 2-3 years of estimating experience. You will review specifications, conduct quantity take-offs, and prepare compliant tender submissions, which are vital for creating accurate project budgets and execution plans based on civil engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review specifications and relevant drawings for bidding

• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates

• Develop construction schedules and pre-bid strategies

• Collaborate in project execution after award

• Prepare and oversee project budgets from design phase

Requirements:

• Technical degree in Construction Management or Engineering

• 2-3 years experience in estimating or similar roles

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and cost estimating

• Familiarity with Virtual Design and Construction tools

• Robust communication and problem-solving abilities
