Civil Railway Construction Inspector Position

Take on a critical role at AECOM Mississauga as an On-Site Railway Construction Inspector, focused on Civil and Structural components within the Greater Toronto Area. Maintain compliance and quality through dedicated oversight.

As an integral part of our team, your role will involve independent project inspections and the submission of detailed progress reports to clients. You will oversee contractor activities, ensuring all safety and quality standards are followed. Regular interaction with project stakeholders will ensure that work plans meet client expectations and enhance project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-office inspections during railway construction phases

• Compile comprehensive progress reports for clients

• Ensure adherence to quality contractual benchmarks

• Monitor contractor performance and site conditions

• Liaise with project teams for collaborative planning

Requirements:

• Technical Diploma in Civil or Construction Engineering

• 6 years of railway sector experience

• Willingness to work night shifts

• Desired:
Valid Driver’s License

• Familiarity with railway construction standards
