Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager with planning, organizing and implementing all aspects of civil construction projects in accordance with project specifications while adhering to all safety, environmental and quality requirements
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Assist the Project Manager in building baseline schedules and progress schedule updates.
Prepare look-ahead schedules for resource planning with the direction of the Project Manager
Assist the Project Manager to review and track project financials
Track, review, and work with Client/ Engineer to quantify all monthly contract quantities
Review and approve vendor and subcontractor PPC's as required
Ensure project files and documents are organized and up to date in field binders and digital folders.
Identify and document additional work throughout the project. Summarize Daily Extra Work Reports (DEWR's) and submit them to clients for approval.
Prepare documents and track review status for work plans, RFIs, Change Orders, submittals and other documents with Client/Engineers and subcontractors
Request, organize, prepare and maintain accurate locates
Accountable for assigned on-site project activities
Attend site and Client/Engineer/Contract Administrator progress meetings
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction related fields is considered an asset
Previous construction field experience in a Project Coordinator role is considered an asset
Valid driver's license and own mode of transportation

Wage Range:
The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $28.00 and $31.00 an hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
