At Bird Construction, we are looking for a proactive HSE Coordinator dedicated to overseeing safety programs and monitoring compliance across various construction sites. You will maintain crucial safety records, lead safety orientations, and assist in project planning. Regular site inspections and compliance monitoring are essential responsibilities that help cultivate a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and record safety incident frequencies
• Conduct field-level safety meetings and inspections
• Assist in new project safety planning
• Ensure regular inspection reports are completed
• Promote awareness of safety policies among workers
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of safety experience in construction
•
Required:
Construction Safety Officer certification
• Relevant post-secondary education in HSE an asset
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations
