Be a part of Ledcor's civil earthworks project as an Experienced Heavy Machinery Operator in remote Northern Saskatchewan. This role emphasizes safety and the efficient use of various heavy equipment.
Ideal for operators with 3+ years of experience, this position requires versatility and skills across different types of machinery, including excavators and graders. Your expertise will facilitate crucial actions like excavation, grading, and mass earthworks. You will also need to engage with site teams to successfully meet safety and production metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
• Conduct excavation, grading, and loading activities
• Maintain equipment functionality with pre-trip checks
• Collaborate with field teams for quality targets
• Observe and address site safety hazards
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of operation in construction or mining
• Proven heavy equipment operation skills
• Proficient in reading site plans and construction documents
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Safety certifications: CSTS-2020 and Ground Disturbance Level 2
