Con Agg Services Ltd. is a fast-growing company in the construction industry with 2 locations in Steinbach and Winnipeg. We operate a large fleet of concrete pumps and stone slingers. We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our concrete pump crew to be based out of either one of our locations (Steinbach or Redonda St.
in Winnipeg). The position involves assisting concrete pump operators on residential, commercial, and industrial job sites.
This is physically demanding outdoor work and is best suited for someone who enjoys staying active, being outdoors, and working with a team.
Responsibilities- Assisting concrete pump operators on job sites.
- Handling and setting up extra line and hoses.
- Washing concrete out of hoses, putting away clamps, etc.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
- Helping with setup and teardown of concrete pump.
- Following all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Complete pre-trip inspections and daily equipment check on deck truck.
- Communicate effectively with the pump operator, other crew members, dispatch, and customers on site.
- Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas.
- Review and complete safety documents as required.
- Miscellaneous tasks around the shop.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and repetitive labour.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to work long hours during peak construction season.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality.
- Must be able to work well with customers and construction crew members as well as independently.
- Be able to solve problems and work under pressure.
- Previous experience with mechanics, working with concrete, or construction are considered an asset.

This position is full-time and consists of early morning starts, some longer days, as well as the occasional Saturday during peak season. Wage will be based on knowledge and experience.
