Position: Safety Supervisor for Underground Mining

This full-time role involves administering the Health and Safety Program while ensuring adherence to regulations. Collaborate with the Project Management Team and site employees to promote zero harm and compliance. The successful candidate should have strong safety management skills, interpersonal abilities, and mining industry knowledge to effectively lead training and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Health and Safety Program onsite

• Conduct compliance inspections and audits

• Oversee training needs and action plans

• Perform accident and incident investigations

• Lead daily safety talks and monthly meetings

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Five years related experience required

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

• Valid driver's licence/permit

• Completed Train the Trainer program
