Located in Winnipeg, this permanent position has four openings for motivated individuals. The Construction Helper will assist in key activities such as material transportation, scaffolding, and building demolitions. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and adaptable to various job demands while performing physically intensive tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and concrete forms
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete and asphalt
• Assist in the demolition of buildings
• Direct traffic near construction sites
Requirements:
• Fluent in English
• Certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation
• 1 to 7 months of related experience
• Ability to handle up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
• Willingness to work in hazardous and dusty conditions
