Mercor is seeking seasoned video editors with over five years of experience in film, TV, or social production. You will develop post-production tasks, producing deliverable specs and grading criteria. Your skills in video editing software will be crucial as you build tasks and assess tonal consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute original footage or source openly licensed content
• Create realistic editing briefs from submitted footage
• Build and produce tasks in your own editing software
• Write grading criteria with editorial rationale
• Blind-solve tasks and provide step-by-step solutions
Requirements:
• 5+ years in editing within film and TV or commercials
• Proficiency in one or more editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro)
• Knowledge of delivery specifications and frame-accurate cuts
• Original footage library preferred, including signed releases
• Availability for approximately 12 hours per week
