About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Guest Services Representative (permanent part-time) who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experience. This role is central to fulfilling JLL's mission of "Continually striving to surprise and engage the consumer and retailer by consistently delivering a superior customer experience." Every customer interaction must be carried out in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the shopping centre's services, amenities, facilities, store locations, promotional activities, and available resources.
- Proactively create memorable customer interactions by assisting guests and providing excellent service.
- Interact with shoppers and retailers courteously and efficiently while managing gift card sales and transaction reconciliation.
- Project a positive attitude in all communications, whether by phone or in person.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, educating them about the centre's services. Assist guests by providing directions, information, and answering questions.
- Stay informed about store merchandise, sales, and special events to offer relevant suggestions based on shopper needs.
- Conduct all service functions at Guest Services.
- Support the Marketing Director with promotional events including ballot distribution, collection, sorting, gift-with-purchase programs, and special events.
- Maintain familiarity with the centre's Crisis Management Manual and understand Guest Services' role and responsibilities as outlined in the plan.
- Participate in special projects and assume additional duties as assigned.
- Candidates must possess a positive attitude and a strong commitment to excellent customer service. Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with shoppers, retailers, centre management, service providers, and all shopping centre personnel.
- The ideal candidate can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and maintain a high level of professionalism. Strong written and oral communication skills are required; multilingual abilities are an asset.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and management skills are necessary. Candidates must be friendly, approachable, proactive, and solution focused.
- Availability to work weeknights, weekends, and day shifts is required.
