Engage with the public as a part-time ambassador in Downtown Winnipeg, offering support and customer service while enhancing visitors' experiences. Connect people to the vibrant local community through information and assistance.
This part-time role spans 14 to 21 hours weekly, focusing on direct customer interactions and promoting Downtown Winnipeg BIZ services. As an ambassador, you'll serve as a key resource for information and assistance, ensuring visitors feel welcomed and informed about events and businesses in the area. We seek individuals who enjoy meeting new people and going the extra mile.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-street guidance regarding events and businesses
• Offer courtesy walks and navigational support
• Promote community programs and activities
• Assist with BIZ and third-party events
• Perform minor cleanliness tasks and report issues
Requirements:
• Proven customer service experience
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use digital tools for task management
• Familiarity with Winnipeg is advantageous
• Valid Class Five Driver’s License is a bonus
