Selkirk GM is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Care/BDC Representative to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for contacting customers, generating service appointments, and supporting customer retention initiatives through outbound phone calls and follow-up activities.

The ideal candidate is comfortable making a high volume of calls, enjoys building relationships with customers, and is motivated by achieving customer engagement goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound follow-up calls to customers regarding recent service appointments, maintenance reminders, and customer retention initiatives.
  • Contact customers as part of manufacturer and dealership direct marketing campaigns.
  • Schedule and confirm service appointments while ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Follow established call processes and scripts while maintaining a professional and friendly approach.
  • Update and maintain customer records within dealership systems.
  • Work closely with Service Advisors and Service Management to support service department objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to re-engage inactive customers and encourage their return to the dealership.
  • Assist with customer satisfaction and retention initiatives as required.
Qualifications
  • Previous customer service, call centre, appointment setting, or dealership experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with customers throughout the day.
  • Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using CRM or dealership management systems is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
