Serve the community as a Telephone Operator at SOGH in a casual capacity. Focus on effective communication and patient support in this in-person position.
In the Telephone & Information Services unit, you will be pivotal in managing calls and assisting patients. With at least one year of relevant experience and a strong background in customer service, you will demonstrate excellence in English communication. This role demands a proactive mindset and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate telephone systems efficiently
• Assist patients and staff with inquiries
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Stay composed in stressful situations
• Provide superior customer service consistently
Requirements:
• Minimum of one year’s experience required
• Grade 12 or equivalent mandatory
• Keyboarding speed of at least 40 wpm
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
