- Managing the patient experience through outstanding customer service skills.
- Take intra‑oral records and radiographs.
- Assisting our orthodontist during a variety of procedures.
- Provide oral health education and instructions to our patients and families.
- Delivering fixed and removable orthodontic appliances.
- Changing wires and ligatures.
- Document patient treatment notes accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.
- 1+ years’ experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
- Completion of Ortho Module (preferred).
- Previous experience in an orthodontic office (preferred).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
- Keen attention‑to‑detail and time management skills.
- Strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decision‑making skills.
