Orthodontist / GP with Orthodontic Focus – Locum Opportunity
docbraces Winnipeg is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Orthodontist or General Dentist with a strong orthodontic focus to provide locum coverage for select days in June.

- Provide comprehensive orthodontic care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and case management
- Deliver high‑quality clinical care with a strong focus on patient experience and outcomes
- Supervise and support clinical team members, including hygienists and assistants
- Review patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Bonding and debonding of orthodontic appliances, including brackets and aligner therapy (if applicable)
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, infection prevention, and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with the broader clinical team to ensure efficient and effective patient flow
- Licensed Orthodontist or General Dentist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
- Experience in orthodontics, including fixed appliances and/or clear aligner therapy
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to high‑quality patient care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, patient‑centered environment
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- A compassionate, patient‑first clinician
- A cooperative team player who thrives in a supportive environment
- A professional with energy, adaptability, and strong clinical judgment
- Someone who values excellence in orthodontic care and continuous learning
