Summer Lifeguard

Position: Summer Lifeguard Role
Take on an exciting Lifeguard role for the summer at Marymound’s pool in Winnipeg. Full-time, 16-week term with a focus on water safety and emergency readiness.

This Lifeguard position is perfect for individuals seeking hands-on experience in aquatic safety. You'll supervise all activities, enforce safety procedures, and be equipped to respond to emergencies including administering CPR. Additionally, you'll conduct regular inspections of the pool area and assist with maintenance to ensure a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and compliance during swimming activities

• Provide first aid and manage emergency situations

• Inspect pool conditions regularly for safety compliance

• Support cleaning and maintaining pool equipment

• Implement emergency action plans as needed

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid National Lifeguard Service certification

• Current First Aid/CPR Level C certification required

• Satisfactory results on Criminal Record checks

• Physically capable of performing required lifeguard tasks

• Aged 18-29 for grant position eligibility
