As part of a dedicated team reporting to the Commercial Design Lead, you will lead the design of innovative timber frame projects. Engage with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure each project reflects the highest standards. Mentor junior team members and evolve internal design processes as you produce critical shop drawings and documents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead timber frame project design and innovation
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Review project details and ensure construction quality
• Mentor and guide junior team members in design
• Produce comprehensive shop drawings for projects
Requirements:
• 10+ years in architectural design or 5+ years timber
• Experience with multimillion-dollar projects
• Strong in design software like Sketch Up and Revit
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Educational background in CAD, Architecture, or related fields
