Position: Detail-Oriented Drafting Technician Role

Join Loewen Windows and Doors as a Drafting Technician within a team committed to precision and quality. You will create vital detailed drawings and collaborate cross-functionally to meet design needs.

In this 18-month term position, you will be instrumental in the Drafting and Design Solutions team. This role requires a strong proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to manage a diverse set of projects. You will support manufacturing processes, mentor junior staff, and ensure high information quality in all drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed drawings adhering to established standards

• Monitor and assist in the project queue operations

• Train and mentor Junior Drafting Technicians

• Collaborate with other departments for accuracy

• Engage in ongoing process improvements

Requirements:

• Strong skills in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

• Solid understanding of detailing standards

• High-level analytical problem-solving capability

• Exceptional communication skills

• Experience in manufacturing is an asset
