Mission Critical Facilities Project Architect

Stantec is seeking a Mission Critical Facilities Project Architect in Calgary, Alberta to direct complex architectural projects. Get involved in all phases, ensuring high standards of project execution and design.

This position requires an experienced architect with a strong technical background and leadership capabilities. You will lead the architectural development for data center projects, from initial planning to construction administration. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams ensures comprehensive project delivery and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create clear technical documentation utilizing Revit and visual tools

• Prepare and manage construction documents from design to completion

• Conduct code analysis and material evaluations

• Support project schedules and mentor the architectural team

• Maintain documentation accuracy and quality throughout phases

Requirements:

• Professional Architecture Degree and current license preferred

• 8+ years in commercial architecture, especially data centers

• Proven Revit skills with additional software knowledge a plus

• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities

• Familiarity with construction administration processes
