Pediatric Neurologist​/Epileptologist

Position Overview

Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist position at Shared Health-Soins Communs, commencing January 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

• Diagnose and treat pediatric neurological disorders, including seizure disorders, strokes, tumors, ataxia, headaches, neuromuscular disorders, metabolic and degenerative diseases, infectious diseases, developmental malformations and developmental delay.
• Prescribe medications, order laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures, and consult with other physicians as required (70% clinical duties).
• Engage in teaching and academic duties as an Assistant Professor (30% of the position).
• Participate in research and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Doctor of Medicine with specialization in Pediatrics.
• Completion of a neonatal neurology fellowship and a Canadian pediatric epilepsy fellowship.
• Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
• Experience in pediatric neurology preferred.

• Mixed compensation model primarily based on fee‑for‑service income, approximately $340,000.
