Offering a part-time position (0.45 FTE), the University of Manitoba seeks an Obstetrician/Gynecologist who will engage in clinical care for early pregnancy, contraception management, and family planning, including abortion services. The role also encompasses teaching medical students and involvement in on-call coverage, making a meaningful impact on future healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound assessments for early pregnancy
• Administer family planning and abortion care services
• Engage in teaching medical trainees effectively
• Participate in on-call rotations for gynecological care
• Oversee education programs for residents in obstetrics
Requirements:
• Current or eligible licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
• Eligibility for a teaching appointment with the University of Manitoba
• Preferred fellowship in Family Planning
• Experience in ultrasound for early diagnosis desired
• Proficient communication and teaching skills
