Citizenship Class Facilitator

The Immigrant Centre Manitoba seeks volunteers to facilitate Citizenship Classes for permanent residents preparing for the Canadian Citizenship Test. Volunteers will lead six 2-hour classes covering topics from the Discover Canada Guide, including Canadian history, modern Canada, and government.

Classes are conducted online via Zoom or in-person at the Immigrant Centre, offering flexibility with weekday evenings and Saturday options. Ideal candidates are fluent in English, experienced with Zoom, proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, and have a strong knowledge of Canadian history, geography, and government.

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work with adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
