Become an Instructor for the Essential Skills Program at Neeginan College, supporting adult learners in their academic and personal growth. Focus on essential skills and community involvement.

In this full-time, permanent role, you'll teach the Program Essentials, which aids students in completing college training while enhancing health and wellness awareness. You’ll create a positive learning atmosphere through the design and delivery of educational programming tailored to individual students, encouraging teamwork and cultural understanding. Your responsibilities include monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records while collaborating with community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Essential Skills programming for adult learners

• Foster a supportive and innovative learning environment

• Engage students with meaningful instructional activities

• Track progress, attendance, and performance records

• Prepare statistics and reports on program success

Requirements:

• Preferred Bachelor of Education or Social Work degree

• Experience in adult education and Indigenous community work

• Competency in MS Office tools

• Ability to provide mentorship and guidance

• Understanding of barriers faced by urban Indigenous people
