Your role will integrate community support and personal development.
You will teach vital program modules that focus on Indigenous practices, child development, and necessary skills for educational assistant positions. Engage learners in an empowering environment while adapting your approach to meet diverse needs and fostering critical thinking and personal growth in every participant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and facilitate engaging instructional lessons
• Provide training in Indigenous culture and community development
• Cultivate an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere
• Offer assessments and constructive feedback to learners
• Collaborate with program coordinators for effectiveness
Requirements:
• In-depth knowledge of Indigenous histories and cultures
• Teaching experience, especially in Indigenous education
• Familiarity with child development and best education practices
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational and time management aptitude
Empower Indigenous adults in their learning journeys while promoting the values of community service and support.
