Temporary Educational Assistant at Riverton

Evergreen School Division seeks a Temporary Educational Assistant for Riverton Collegiate, working 4.25 hours daily. Support students academically and socially in a collaborative school environment.

This position is effective from September 8, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of Grade 12, along with relevant training and experience in behavior management. Demonstrable computer skills are essential, and a Para Educator Certificate is desired to enhance student support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically and socially

• Assist with speech-language activities

• Help with individualized student programming

• Oversee daily routines and supervision

• Provide library support including cataloguing and book fairs

Requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent

• Relevant training and behavioral management coursework

• Experience in educational settings preferred

• Strong computer and technology skills

• Ability to assist with student safety and mobility needs
