Join the University of Manitoba as an Assistant or Associate Professor in Human Anatomy & Cell Science. This tenure-track role is dedicated to advancing translational cancer research initiatives.
Candidates will explore innovative proteomic strategies linking fundamental and health-oriented research while focusing on brain tumor mechanisms. A PhD or MD/PhD is required, along with a minimum of 2–3 years of postdoctoral experience. This role involves teaching responsibilities and mentorship to foster the next generation of researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a funded research program in translational cancer
• Mentor graduate students and develop collaborative teams
• Explore spatially resolved proteomic methodologies
• Engage in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Work with various core facilities supporting research
Requirements:
• PhD or MD/PhD degree
• 2–3 years of postdoctoral experience
• Proven research and teaching background
• Experience in proteomic research
• History of mentorship and leadership
Contribute to impactful research and education in cancer biology and proteomics at the University of Manitoba.
