University of Manitoba Eastern Religions Instructor

Join the University of Manitoba as a Sessional Instructor for RLGN 1322. Teach Eastern Religions while inspiring students from September 1 to December 31, 2026.

As part of this role, you will instruct students in a 3-credit course, emphasize key aspects of Eastern Religions, and develop testing materials. Your engagement will drive student understanding and participation in a dynamic academic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare effective instructional and assessment materials

• Lead and teach engaging course sessions

• Assess and grade students' assignments and exams

• Offer supportive, constructive feedback to students

• Maintain office hours for additional student guidance

Requirements:

Required:

Master's degree, Ph.D. or candidacy

• Excellent written and spoken English communication

• Specialization or background in Eastern Religions

• Demonstrated teaching experience required

• Empathetic approach to diverse student concerns
